Saturday night after a late night at the church we came home and put the kids to bed, Madeline has been fighting a cold for a while now and not sleeping very well due to the fact that she can't suck her thumb because then she would be unable to breath. So she was pretty restless throughout the night. Then, Emily woke up in the middle of the night complaining of her ear bothering her. She ended up in bed with us and by morning I think Paul had gotten very little sleep. Not to mention the fact that his time clock is confused since he has just gotten back from Australia on Friday night!!
Sunday both Emily and Maddie were fussy and Maddie took a, much needed, 4 hour nap. I was going to wait until today to decide whether or not to make doctor appointments for them, but fortunately they are both feeling much better today, they still have a little bit of a cold but no temperatures and no ear complaints. Emily has fallen asleep on the floor just in time to be woken up to get Nathan and Kayla from school.
