Happy Halloween

We hope everyone had a HAPPY Halloween and now has as much candy in your house as we do. I am trying to find a way to get rid of all of this candy and am very close to just throwing it away, so if you have any suggestions, let me know!! Halloween was a good time. During the day I went to Nathan's class to help with his Halloween party. It was a good time and there was a lot of really good/fun food. They had made witches brooms with cheese and pretzel sticks, a graveyard with gummy worms, graham cracker dog bones, and crushed oreo's, bats made from apples, chocolate, and bananas, ghost sandwiches, lollipops, eyeball soup (punch), and a chocolate fountain to dip marshmallows into. Instead of playing pin the tail on the donkey they played stick the spider to the spider web, and made spiders from moo pies and pretzel sticks.
Halloween night the kids put on their costumes and headed off to collect too much candy!! Emily was a cat, Kayla was a princess/fairy and Nathan was a cowboy. Our next door neighbor put up a table in the cul-da-sac and the men stayed behind to pass out candy while the ladies took the kiddies trick-or-treating. Everyone had a lot of fun and we came home with a lot more candy than necessary. After the kids baskets were full of candy we came back to the house and played in the cul-da-sac until about 9PM then put the kids to bed and Paul and I went back out to socialize with the Parker's until about 11:30. We had a fun and the kids really enjoyed dressing up and going trick or treating.
