Ice and Art

Before Danny and Emily left we went downtown to the ice skating rink to skate a while. Paul took Nathan skating while I went with the girls to the art museum, it was free. Nathan did a good job skating, Paul was able to turn him loose and he was skating around on his own. It was fun to see the changes from last year. I think next year we may try to get Kayla out there again. I was sad to skip skating, but next year I will be putting on a pair of skates!! The art museum was kind of disappointing, there was some good art, but then there was some watercolors on a notebook paper that was terrible!! Kayla could do better than what they had hanging in there. I am amazed at what some people call art!! It was fun to go through the Chihuly glass exhibit, and see that glass art. It was a good day out and fun to spend it with Danny, Emily and their family. We will miss them and the built in babysitters with the kids having other kids to play with.
