Tile Floors

Well, I have been putting this off now for about 6 months. Today I finally broke down bought some grout cleaner and sealant. I cleaned the grout and will reseal it tonight. The grout went from a gray color to an off white. I am so happy to have "clean" floors, now to reseal them!!

What a fun weekend!! My little sister was married on Saturday and it was beautiful. Congratulations to Blake and Sue.

BOO!!!

Halloween was a fun night!! We were visited by Darth Vader, a Princess, a Cat and a Witch. The witch had to go to bed early so she missed out on the trick-or-treating but she had her fill of candy the next day. The kids went around the neighborhood and collected more candy than they needed, but had a good time. There were 2 houses that went all out with decorations in the front yard, the kids were too scared to go and get candy. Upon arrival back in the cul-da-sac the kids ran around with the neighborhood kids and played tag while the adults sat around the fire pit, handed out candy and talked. When I say we handed out candy, I mean that there was a table that had 4 bowls of candy for trick-or-treaters to help themselves to. We stayed up until 11:30 talking, it was a good night of just getting to know our neighbors.

Oktoberfest

Last night we had a few friends over for pumpkin carving and beer and brauts. We had a good time and enjoyed lots of adult time. Our neighbor brought over his guitar and played some music for us, kids played football, adults drank beer and wine, a good time was had by all!!

Last Game

Today was Nathan's last game of soccer for the season. He was the big scorer again with two goals. The game was a tie with a score of 2-2. Nathan has grown as a player this year and is really enjoying the game. He gets right in the middle of things and will stick with the ball all the way to the goal. Last week Nathan scored 3 goals and his team, "the Strikes' won 3-0. I think he would play year round if it was available.
